Enjoy wine tasting at a leisure pace removed from the hustle-bustle of everyday life. Near by Paso Robles offers an advantage over Napa or Sonoma Valley Wine Regions where the crowds are a frequent occurance.

Paso Robles is just over the Santa Lucias mountains, a 20 minute breathtaking drive on Highway 46. This is one of California's most beautiful vistas. There are a number of pullouts for photo opportunities where one can capture the coastline meeting the mountain range. Just south one can see the Morro Bay rock jutting out of the ocean. One of the 7 sister volcanic out croppings that dot their way into San Luis Obispo.

Over the hill on the way into Paso Robles there are many small wineries to drop in on. You can find a selection of award winning reds and whites for tasting. You can pick up a map and guide at the Chamber of Commerce in Cambria.
